The TSUEAA has established a number of ways for the public to financially assist the TSU College of Engineering with its mission of providing a world-class technical education experience for our Alma Mater’s engineering students:

TSU CoE ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND

The TSU COE ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND was established by the TSUEAA to provide financial aid to the students of the TSU College of Engineering.  Each year this fund provides the University’s engineering scholars (and future TSU College of Engineering alums) thousands of dollars of scholarships to aid these young engineers-to-be in their quest for technical academic excellence.

CoE NEW BUILDING CAMPAIGN (NBC)

The CoE NEW BUILDING CAMPAIGN (NBC) FUND is intended to raise 10% to 15% of the cost of a new multi-building College of Engineering building complex to house all of the college's degree offerings under one roof to support its long-term academic and research needs for the next 50 years.

CoE SUMMER PRE-ENGINEERING READINESS FUND (SPERF)

The CoE SUMMER PRE-ENGINEERING READINESS FUND (SPERF) partially underwrites multiple summer outreach programs which are provided annually by the TSU College of Engineering for high school students.  The crown jewel of these programs is an on-campus summer “boot camp” specifically for high school seniors who are matriculating into the TSU CoE, in order to further hone those students’ technical education skills before they begin life as TSU freshmen engineering students.

CoE GENERAL ASSISTANCE FUND, aka “The Dean’s Fund”

The CoE GENERAL ASSISTANCE FUND, aka “The Dean’s Fund”, provides the Dean of the TSU College of Engineering a pool of funds to be used for the benefit of the TSU CoE’s student body and educational mission.  This fund is administered at the Dean’s discretion.

The CoE MIGHTY 100

The TSU CoE "Mighty 100" is a "core" group of 100 CoE alumni which will:

(1) support on-going giving to the college, with a gift of $1,000 being a starting point;
(2) commit to give $1,000 on an annual basis;
(3) become critical and active "advocates" for the CoE and influence others to give, and
(4) become references for the CoE by their gift as a critical level of commitment to the CoE and the Tennessee State University CoE Alumni Endowment.

TSUEAA-LUSTER ENGINEERING STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND

The TSUEAA partnered with the Luster Family to support the TSUEAA-STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND (SEF). This fund is designed to support the emergency needs of TSU CoE students (i.e. family death, personal emergencies), as well as provide support for CoE student programs (i.e. NBSE, SWE, EKN, etc.).

TSUEAA LOCAL CONTRIBUTIONS

TSUEAA LOCAL CONTRIBUTIONS are earmarked for use by the TSUEAA for our organization’s mission of, and towards its general operation in, providing multifaceted support to the TSU College of Engineering and its students.

All of these accounts require contributions from persons like YOU so that the programs they fund can continue to be viable tools for the technical education of TSU College of Engineering students from matriculation to graduation.  We ask for your help by your ongoing donations.

The TSUEAA and the students of the TSU College of Engineering thank you in advance for your generosity with your donations.  Your material contribution to our alma mater’s mission of providing world-class technical education is an investment in the future of TSU engineering students, and is highly appreciated by all of us!
