WHY SHOULD I BE A TSUEAA MEMBER?

In its constitution, the TSUEAA declares its purpose to:

  1. promote engineering education at the University;
  2. unite its members in close fellowship;
  3. stimulate interest among prospective students;
  4. foster activities of the University’s engineering organizations;
  5. advance engineering and technology professions; and
  6. secure the future of the College of Engineering.

If you are also excited by these goals, the TSUEAA is for you!

WHO CAN BE A TSUEAA MEMBER?

Anyone can join the TSUEAA as either a “Regular Member” (e.g., any person who graduated or took TSU CoE classes) or an “Associate Member” (e.g., any person who manifests a genuine interest in the promotion of the TSUEAA and its goals).

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A GRADUATE OF THE TSU CoE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE TSUEAA!

WHAT IS THE COST OF MEMBERSHIP INTO THE TSUEAA?

If you are already an active member of the TSU National Alumni Association – either by TSUNAA Life Membership or through another authorized TSU alumni chapter on a yearly basis – TSUEAA membership dues are currently $25 each year.

If this applies to you, use this link to become a paid member of the TSUEAA (with a 3% PayPal handling fee added):

Please note that TSUEAA membership period is from July 1st until June 30th of the following year, and membership in the TSUEAA must be renewed yearly.

**Paid membership is valid until June 30th of the current fiscal year**

WHAT ARE THESE DUES USED FOR?

As explained above, if you are asked to pay $55 to join the TSUEAA $30 of those dues go directly to the TSUNAA office to fund the operation of the national organization and various outreach programs for students.

The “local” $25 dues amount remains in your local TSUEAA chapter’s account to help fund our chapter’s outreach efforts and events such as development of the TSUEAA web portal, mass e-mailing campaigns, and various TSUEAA activities throughout the year such as TSU Homecoming festivities, semi-annual meeting expenses, and other TSUEAA operational expenses.

Become a financial member of the TSU Engineering Alumni Association and help support its mission.  We appreciate your continued and sustained support of our TSUEAA. It is critical and essential, and without it, we could not operate.

If you have any questions, you can get answers by e-mailing the TSUEAA at [email protected].
